White Dog peeked into the bedroom to make sure Zsofia was still napping with momma early this morning. WD is not an early morning girl but today she and the others had a special mission. After installing Roman to snooze in the pathway in front of where Zso rested, the rest of the family got to work making a special breakfast for our Birthday Girl.

Today Zsofia is SEVEN.

To begin the daylong celebration, the kitchen team made scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, brocolli and cheese. It was served with extra creamy coffee. "We were going to make ALL of your favorites," White Dog joked, "but Dad would have needed to start a month ago to make all 652."

has matured into a lovely, well mannered, gentle lady who still loves to bring in sticks, has discovered she is tall enough to counter surf, and who makes us all proud.

Happy Birthday to our Darkest White Dog with love and hopes for dozens more celebrations of this day. XO
