White Dog and I watched Diva strut past the bed and come to a halt at the dog door. She peered through the flap and mumbled but did not push through. Zsofia patiently waited for two or three minutes (a lifetime for Zso) before stepping over her sister and pushing the flap open. Diva took the opportunity to scamper out between Zso's legs.
"She was just waiting for the doorman," White Dog Laughed.
Across the day we witnessed our Little Diva cry for Steve's help to go OUT the dog door and then stand on the outside whimpering when she was ready to return. When no one came to her rescue Diva pushed the corner of the flap and slipped through without help.
But a mottled girl quickly learned that Zsofia was an enabler...willing to hold the flap up or go through slowly enough that her sister could avoid straining her nose.
