White Dog said, "looks like dad has earned a promotion from doorman to cheerleader." She was referring to Diva, who has mastered using the dog door but who enjoys the attention as she passed in and out. So she excitedly lets Steve know her desitre to go out so that he can accompany her to the door chanting "push with your nose! Jump through! You can do it! Bravo!"

Once in the yard, Diva sniffs, wanders and explores like an adventurer of old. I believe a yard is a new experience for her; although she still enjoys her bedtime leash walk. But a dog door and a yard...the ultimate in independence and luxury!
