White Dog felt good enough to volunteer to sit with Steve subtly in the front yard reading emails and being a "presence" to keep parade goers from parking across our driveway. "There are advantages and disadvantages to living only a half block from the city's main parade route," White Dog told him. "Put me in the buggy with a blankie and some pillows and I will keep you company. I can also be a calm adorable ambassador encouraging visitors to our neighborhood to be respectful."
So that is how White Dog got to enjoy the Twinkle Lights Parade while the other, noisier, more energetic candidates were forced to watch from the office windows.
