Steve has worked across this past week to carefully brush out Opal's coat to remove the winter fluff she is shedding and to make our Sparkling Girl truly gleam. She loves the attention and, I think, appreciates the loss of the itchy old hair. With what has been combed out, the WDA might be able to fashion a full-sized fur version of a White Dog.
So what do you do when you are fluffed and soft and glistening from ear to tip of tail? Why you go out into the yard and roll, of course.
Zsofia has a theory. "I think Opal rolled because she wanted Dad to start all over with the brushing; she is kind of an attention hog sometimes." I looked at My Itty Bitty Baby incredulously because she is the Queen of pushing her way into receiving attention. "I guess you would recognize the signs," I smiled.
