"Every time I sit here I think about Puff...and Bella...and Pearl and this Watching Chair feels like a Time Machine. I remember puppy Zsofia teasing YoYoMa by hopping on the chair using his blindness to win the game. We would all pile on in the window chairs when we heard the car announcing Dad's return from work...there were so many of us cheering. 

"Today reminds me of our Autumn leaf ritual. Siku always found the first fallen leaf; but Puff watched the tree out front for the first leaf to change color and when she found it she would call us all up to see it. The WDA looked after that leaf every day until it dropped...on that night momma made her grandmother's special stew. I hope I see that leaf today."
