Our nighttime ritual involves distributing treats in multiple locations. If you have been following the blog for a while, this probably does not surprise you. We have one session of treat distribution in the office and then have a final session in the bedroom. Lilly remains in the office while the rest of the White Dog Army proceed to devour their treats in the second location. Yes, Lilly does receive treats during the second round as well.

Tonight, as we proceeded to the bedroom for treats, Bailey decided that she would remain with Lilly for the night. Bailey has a favorite open crate in the office that she enjoys at other times and tonight, she thought that this crate would be her sleeping quarters for the night. Lilly, usually solitary at bedtime, exclaimed that, "It's really great that we're having a sleepover tonight, Bailey!" I suspect that this arrangement will last only one night, but they were quite happy to spend their night in each other's company.
