White Dog napped right through Deborah dropping off a note and a gift jar of marmalade from Majorca on the front step. Deborah was so concerned that she wasn't greeted by White Dog standing and barking in the window that she emailed me to make sure everything was ok. White Dog was embarrassed to be caught sleeping on duty so she was extra diligent the rest of the day--the mailman and the UPS delivery guy were announced until they were no longer in sight. Further, White Dog reminded the water project construction workers (again and again) that she was watching them.
