White Dog and I were on a shopping mission when we went to the Museum store late this afternoon. The original plan--out of necessity--was that she would wait in the car while Steve and I went in "for the goods" (We can't be more specific for fear of ruining an on-going surprise!) Before we went in Steve caved to her whimpering and took White Dog for a little sniff and tell walk at the museum and shoppe entrances--so she could see where we were going. The shopkeeper was working near the door and spotted White Dog. She came to the door to ask White Dog's breed and to share her childhood Spitz story with us. Anyway, the next thing we knew White Dog was invited inside the Museum store and the delightful clerk was helping us choose just the right gifts! When she heard about White Dog's blog and our Pay It Forward campaign she gave White Dog the cookie from her lunch and a discount on our purchase!!! In return, White Dog gave the clerk a pencil that she found under one of the racks.

Siku, that's neat you got to go into a store, let alone a museum store where they could have lots of breakables! Yay, you might have a new visitor to your blog! I hope the lady at the museum store checks your blog out.

Hana, I was VERY careful and stayed right by mom's side and then while mom and dad were making their final decisions I went over and sat at the check out desk and ate cookies with the clerk. The museum looked interesting too but I was not invited to go there (maybe next time).
