To Stormer, she added. "We are forever bound. It will be with joy tonight that we celebrate your release and restoration by lighting a candle and watching for your star. We are grateful for all that you added to our lives and blessed that you chose to become a member of the White Dog Army."
With that, Steve removed Stormer's collar and wrapped him in the blue plaid blanket that he took with him from rescue to here and now to eternity.
As I lifted him into my lap for his final ride (He hated car rides anyway, I thought), I whispered to him..."Always, Baby Boy. NEVER forgotten."

Oh No....I had no idea he was ready for his journey. I'm so sorry. I know how much he'll be missed by all.
