"Well, actually it was only two and a half days...the first day we had half a cup," I responded. "But it was skinny on the cream and there was NOTHING yesterday," she countered.
In a week of budget tightness we had delayed grocery shopping and consequently run out of cream for the morning coffee. The White Dog Army, with the exception of White Dog who does not imbibe, was devastated and spent the entire morning moping about their loss. I must admit to being silently saddened as well.
Thankfully, Steve took pity and used part of his free spending dollars to stop on his way home from work last night...
...so that this morning we could wake up to this...
