White Dog last week was acting a little timid and favoring her back. When she was just a young girl, she was diagnosed with a genetic nerve impingement that with an herbal compound, discus compositum, we have been able to totally control. It has gotten difficult to procure the liquid as the manufacturer no longer sells their products in the United States but we are able to order it shipped from Holland. We have never had a problem except that it requires a long lead time and the shipping is expensive.
For the first time ever our order was held up in customs and required a note from Dr. Julia in order to be released and delivered. It added extra time into the process and White Dog went off dosage for over a week as we waited.
We could see the difference in her activity level and her unwillingness to jump up on the couch. Her backside tucked down protectively. Traumeel helped with pain relief but we were VERY glad when the long term supply arrived.
Like many natural compounds, the medication has a slight "ramp up" period so it took a few days to see effects. But her playfulness was a sure sign that she was back to her old self.
