The humans were having a kung pao shrimp stir fry. Shrimp tails were carefully cut off and counted as Steve gave them a quick saute..."There are twenty of them," Nilla observed. "Two for each of us." "But who gets the extra two?" Zsofia wanted to know. "There will be two that are extra."
"How about the oldest two get an extra?" Tizenegy suggested. (He and Nilla are oldest).
"How about a trick contest?" Bella danced.
"How about whoever eats theirs fastest?" asked Opal, our inhaler.
"How about just putting them on the floor and seeing who gets them first?" Roman said...and we ALL looked at him.
"What about a lottery?" Pearl wanted to know.
Steve popped first one and then the second extra tail into his mouth.
The entire WDA was incredulous. They stared as if Steve stood chewing the head he had just bitten off of a Martian.
"Problem solved," he said.
