White Dog stopped next to Bella to tell her that she was particularly sparkling in her confidence this day and to mention how proud the leader of the White Dog Army was of our Tiny Dancer.

Bella Bee squirmed at the compliment. She carried the smile all day.

Later, when we were alone, I mentioned to White Dog that her words were kind and empowering to her emerging sister. She looked me in the eye and said, "Momma we are best when we all lift each other up."

I caressed the side of her face then unable to resist, bent down and kissed her forehead.
