White Dog observed the White Dog Army's greeting as Steve came in from work. There was the usual blizzard to the front door led by Bailey, Roman, Bella, and Opal. Tizenegy stood just inside the door singing his welcome. Zsofia danced on the ottoman and howled lest she not be recognized by Steve. Even Nilla was at the kitchen gate doing her funny "Yip. Yip." statement.
Pearl waited calmly on the chair just inside the door. And after Steve petted the outspoken ones, he turned to Pearlie Pearl.
As is her ritual she high fived Steve and then turned to allow him to give her a belly rub. Her smile was as loud as the Welcome Home song of the others.
