White Dog was smothered in love all day. It was a 14th Birthday filled with fantastic foods, frolicking games, a range of entertainment, and complete celebration.

She rocked the bustier/harness sent by Andy, her special guy and all of her sisters were a smidge jealous of the look.
Somewhere between playing outdoors on this warm sunny day and zoomies gone wild, momma's ill-timed catch of a flying white dog twanged a muscle in her back. "I guess momma is excused from the "How Low Can You Go" limbo contest." Pearl announced.  Pain meds and lots of pillow support kept things lively but no, I did not try to bend beneath one of the agility jumps to win. "Growing old is not all it is cracked up to be," I told my Girl. "But better by far than the alternative," she replied.

Cheesecake, Italian style with lemon, marscapone and ricotta on a pistachio crust capped the party and White Dog rests happily on her bed.

The planning committees came through with gold stars. White Dog was surprised and pleased at the fuss. And now, with full tummies, happy hearts, and tiredness from the activities (Bella, our under the chair girl, won the limo contest by the way), the WDA is taking pre-bedtime walk naps.
