Nancy has shared the White Dog journey for many years and is amazing. She lives off-grid in a house that she was hands-on in building and her pups share their lives with horses, chickens, coyotes, Cooper's hawks, and kitties. White Dog was fascinated the time we visited and she was crowed at by the rooster!
"Is this Bella?" Nancy asked with delight. "I remember when she would not even come out from under the chair."
We love the easy way conversation flows about pups, family, every topic under the sun. It is like all of the fun of company without the fuss. Last night we prepared Tikka Masala and Sag Paneer and even baked a pistachio cake to serve for lunch.
Time passes much too quickly with people like that and before we noticed the afternoon had passed. Nancy had to drive home to feed her furbabies; a reality the WDA understood.
The White Dogs gathered for final nuzzles and kisses then sang our friend down the driveway asking her to be sure to hurry back soon.
Then all eyes turned to Steve. "Nancy has a drive until she gets home. Then her pups will eat. You will eat dinner at about the same time they do, be patient and share their anticipation."

That is so special! How great that Nancy came to visit you, and that Bella was happy to see her dear friend. Time with friends always goes quickly, for sure. But the special memories and love live on. :)
