I sing WDA favorites and read poetry aloud while the Army comfortably surrounds me sometimes listening, sometimes napping.
But not Zsofia. She has turned my solo performance into a duet by insisting on "singing" along.
WD will sometimes cast a look of disapproval but it does not prevent our Darkest White Dog from adding backup to the best of U2's Joshua Tree album or howling the chorus of Todd Rundgren's "Love is the Answer."
During reading time, we are currently sharing Peril at End House by Agatha Christie, Zso listens with focus and enjoyment. I believe that she is hoping to solve the case before Hercule Poirot does.
And then it is the Final Five...the vocal/noises wrap up that is her favorite. We stretch momma's range and push the holding of notes. Momma thinks of jazz or scat singing. White Dog thinks that these practices are beginning to sound suspiciously like Sibe-speak.
