White Dog and Steve have developed a "Get Momma Safely Out of The House and Into The Car" Plan for those times during my health difficulties when I must go to doctors' appointments and such. It deals with the portable oxygen, the bags of ancillary materials and gadgets, and my unsteadiness efficiently and with a minimum of momma stress.

The rest of the White Dog Army respect the planning but are not at all comfortable with letting me leave their sight, much less go away. As I sat in the sunporch to gather my courage, Bailey and Bella did everything they could to physically stop the plan; the others, inside, howled their protest. Steve finally got the girls stuffed back in the house and helped me totter out to the van for my long awaited cardiologist's appointment.

When I returned, it took a bit of setup to reverse the WD Plan so that I could smoothly get back inside. As Steve set things up, the WDA filled the windows and shouted anxious greetings. Back on the sunporch with the front door closed, the Army blizzarded out to sniff and lick and assess me. All wanted to touch me which created a traffic jam as I tried to move inside.

The meeting was a solid start on finally beginning to address health issues that have been on hold since December as I waited on available appointments; health issues that the WDA were stalwart and insightful nurses as we struggled to do it ourselves.

Now home, the White Dogs of all colors were not about to let me out of sight fearing I once again slip away or need their ministrations. I could not turn a page in the book I am reading without some pup lifting a head to make sure I was not in need.

And a roadblock prevented me from leaving my desk without creating an alert.
I am safe. I am loved. I am making steps toward fixing what ails me.

we are glad you are finally seeing someone (stupid medical system) and that you have such attentive nurses at home

Thank goodness for you finally getting that appointment, Sue. And you most certainly are loved deeply and completely by Steve and the WDA. And all of us, too!
