White Dog LOVES pistachio anything and we always share. That is why she could barely finish her dinner after watching me chop the nuts and stir them into the pudding base. "I am going to get some of that, right," she asked. "Of course. AFTER your medicine and after human dinner," I told her.
Her pacing as Steve and I ate was amusing. Steve had not even finished chewing the last bit of dal when she started pressuring him to get the pipette of her discus compositum. "And then I get pudding, right?" she double-checked.
"Yes," I told her.
I held her in my arms and she gobbled down the medicine. "Well?," she turned to look at me. Steve held the bowl which contained a bit of pudding; she turned her head. "What?" I asked her. "It is pistachio pudding just as promised."
"I know," Steve said and went out to the kitchen to return with a spoon. He slid the green creaminess onto the spoon and held it out. White Dog delicately lapped off every drop. And so she was fed her reward as her Army watched...head in my arms, being spoon-fed pudding. Then she asked to be put down so that she could stroll through the room of WD wannabes on her way to her bed.
