White Dog was most interested in the box I received today from my friend, Lisa, for my birthday. She and Lisa's Andy have been an "item" for years and WD was sure the package was really for her.

"Um, nope. It is a very cool gift that only Eskie mommas would send to each other. Want to see?" She wagged her tail as I slid the gift under her nose. She peered in and she gasped in delight.
At the bottom of the teacup sat a plump little white Eskie/cub.
"It is like a magic trick," she said. "You fill the cup and the pup is invisible but as you drink first his head then his entire body is revealed. How cool is that?"

EVERY pup had to look inside the cup.

Opal tapped my leg and I looked at her. "Momma, I know it is not coffee time but could we fill this cup with soothing peppermint tea and a drizzle of honey? Then we could all share sips and make the statue appear?"

Her request was completed with eight pairs of sincere loving eyes shining on me so of course we took a little break from routine for a civilized cup of tea...and a chance for every one to try to be "the one" to uncover the first glimpse of the Little White Dog in a Cup.
