White Dog wasn't in her bed when Steve went in to get her for dinner tonight. He looked all over the house and then came back to report, "She went outside by herself!"
Immediately the entire White Dog Army hustled through the dog door to see for themselves and cheer their sister on. Thirty seconds later there was a loud clap and the skies opened. Rain came pouring down.
Every one dashed back through the door, laughing and shaking off droplets as they joined us in the living room.
Steve, worried that all the input might be too much of a challenge for our recovering White Dog darted out, scooped her up and carried her in. She had slipped while trying to hurry. "Not to worry, Little One," Steve told he as he put her right in the tub and washed her up. "That was a wonderful effort. Just be careful not to over do it."
