White Dog patted Steve on the leg. "Who can resist THAT much effort to be adorable," she said, "give the extra treat to the cute little Tiny Dancer."

When you are the smallest in a landscape that can be blocked by giants (like Zso and Bai) you find other ways to be noticed especially at treat time.

Not wanting to be overlooked as Steve was handing out the remaining special frosted dog bakery cookies Bella was a girl manic with motion. She zoomed around the room and down the hall and skidded to a stop at Steve's feet (and under Zso). She stood on her hind legs paddling air in a crazy Bella-hula. She sprang up on all fours like her feet had become springs. She wove in and around Steve's legs, knocking the others out of the way.

Then she composed herself daintily and gave her most powerful "mind-melding" stare.

And THAT is what won her the extra cookie... then she took a nap.
