White Dog agreed with Opal's reaction this afternoon when I asked, "Would everyone be ok with pumpkin pancakes stirfry veggies for dinner? I know it is a strange combo but..."

Right before dinner prep began Steve was called on to give Tiz a little extra attention AND his work afternoon had been a series of solving problems for coworkers.

"Would anyone be upset," I tested the waters, "if we saved pancakes for later in the week and gave dad a break by ordering tacos?"

White Dog took a survey. "Your suggestion is accepted unanimously! Now let's get a piece of paper and take taco orders!" Steve kissed my cheek. "Thank you, I am weary tonight."
