White Dog said, "it is like that story dad tells about his mom's rule of not waking her up on weekend mornings so he would just sit quietly on the floor in her bedroom and stare at her until she felt his presence and opened her eyes. 'But I DIDN'T make any noise or touch you,' he told her.
"Opal will NEVER wake you but she will stare at you with all her might...or hop up gently and lie on the bottom of the bed...and if you HAPPEN to wake up, well then it is coffee time!"
