White Dog walked all the way from the office to the bedroom where Zsofia had rushed in and, with help, got up on the bed. "How is she?" WD asked. "Still a little groggy from the anesthesia," Steve responded, "but glad to be home next to momma."

Everypup suspected something was up last night when dinner came early and bedtime treats were surreptitiously handed out while Zso was out on her walk so that her "No food after 6pm" restriction was not obvious.

When Zsofia arrived at Dr. Julia's office early this morning, she sensed it was not going to be for kisses and treats. Steve said My Itty Bitty Baby Girl dug in her heels then flattened on her belly; they had to drag her to the back to prepare her for her dental.

Dr. Julia phoned around two to tell us that we could pick Our Girl up after three. There were no problems and no extractions, the good doctor reported. She did mention that Zsofia was a bit of a drama queen. We were not shocked.

Steve got to the clinic half past the hour but our healer felt Zso was still pretty groggy. They waited fifteen minutes or so but Zso was terribly anxious to leave. With all kinds of caveats about no food for four hours and not to let her chug water, she was released to come home.
"Oh momma! I am SO glad to be home. It was awful!" "Let's see your pearly whites," I asked. "Dad will make you something extra special for dinner later. You probably aren't interested in treats, right?"
"Maybe just a few bites," she said. "I am SO hungry. If you tear jerky into little pieces and put each in my mouth, I think I can manage."

Zso, your teeth are so shiny and bright. We hope your dinner was extra special, since you had to wait!
