White Dog saw Zsofia blocking exit through the dog door and asked me to lift her to the bed so she could see out of the window. "Oh no!," she wailed. "When did HE move in? This is not good at all."
"I was wondering why the mourning doves had abandoned their nest before the eggs hatched," said Opal who hopped up beside White Dog. From the floor Bella laughed her oft practiced Mad Queen Gertrude laugh, "Maybe they did not abandon the babies but became road runner lunches."
"If more folks actually knew a road runner or two, they would not buy into the propaganda of the Roadrunner and Wiley E. Coyote cartoons," Roman snorted. "Roadrunners are ill-tempered, mean, and pick on the weaker and the smaller."
"Are we really going to hide out in here until he goes away," Bailey complained. "Come on Dad! I will go out with you. Let's explain he is NOT welcome in our yard."
