White Dog chuckled. "Since the Roadrunner spotting the other day, every member of the White Dog Army stops outside the dog door and scans the yard for the mean little bird who might chase thembefore heading to ground level. Bella's stories of the long ago summer when one began hanging out on our bench in front and pecking at the window while wailing and spreading its wings to scare us has all the Army VERY cautious."
