White Dog pushed Bella toward the door. "Go! I have a good feeling about this visit. Besides, everyone loves to see you at the Clinic; soak up the extra loving and attention."
Bella rushed back into the house and right into the office. "White Dog! I have improved! My eye is not yet healed but the pressure has decreased to the point that we do not have to fear that it will need to be removed."
Steve filled in the details as Bella got distracted by the bumblebee in the Desert Willow outside of the window. Dr. Julia was thrilled at the progress this round of antibiotics, steroids and drops had made. She is uncertain how much vision will be reclaimed but now is fairly confident that at least the eye will be able to remain.
The fact that Bella is still able to overcome her Sundowner's tendencies using only herbal calming tablets made our Healer smile. "You don't need the Trazadone yet, Little One, nor any of the other medications available to help CCD. You seem to be a healthy and happy girl."
White Dog gave her prescription: "Live the day fully. Nap when you want to. Exercise. Eat pleanty of treats. Getting old is no crime, Sister."
"All that traveling and charming the staff was tiring; I feel a nap coming on, White Dog. Could we have treats now before I rest for dinner?"
