White Dog looked into Roman's eyes. "October is a special month celebrating love and trust and family for us. You continue to work very hard at learning to control your demons and while you are not yet totally there, you have earned a vote of confidence." Roman looked from Steve to me trying to understand what WD was saying.

"White Dog has agreed to a return of the gate across the office at night, because she is vulnerable," I told him. "And the others think you deserve an opportunity to show us your progress." Steve continued. "So during bedtime walks and while we watch television after you will still be locked in your crate. But once everyone else is settled I will open your crate doors so you have access to the dog door and the other rooms for the rest of the night."

I looked at him seriously. "This is a HUGE privilege you have earned. Do not blow it for there will not easily be a repeat. We are believing in you, Roman. Show us you have learned. Enjoy this freedom but respect your sisters as well."
