White Dog laughed. "From this fresh from the tub little girl..."

"To this tired but fluffy white Diva in just under seven hours..."
Opal must be chased down, carried into the bathroom, and all four paws must be securely on the tub. But once inside the white walls she settles into Steve's soothing voice and opens herself up to the cleansing calming experience.

After, Steve carries her (both dripping wet) to my towel swaddled arms where with luck I can blot off most of the moisture before she hops down to shake her way through the house. No blow drying for Opal; she hates the sounds of anything machine-like so we let nature do its thing (while praying she resists the yen to go rolling in the yard).

Opal is blessed with a thick luxurious top coat and dense wooly underfurs so it takes quite a while for her to dry. The furs get a little help when she passes by or sits at my side so I can ruffle and lift the floof playfully.
