I have a marvelous friend who comes up with the BEST ideas. I, rather we, just received her belated birthday gift to me. She understands that the biggest joy I have is watching the White Dog Army enjoy themselves. She also understands that feeding the sweet tooth of a diabetic is not a good idea, so she sent French macaroons, which I adore, but a dog cookie version. For all the world when I opened the fancy package tied with a ribbon, the rainbow of six (exactly the right number) macaroons sang for me to take a bite...it had the same effect on the Army. I set those high on the refrigerator with the promise we would enjoy them tomorrow to mark the first day of Spring.

The other box held a smart toy where pups need to push sliders to gain access to the treat in the compartment below. Zsofia and Bailey may have broken the record for how quickly they we sliding and munching.

Lilly had to be pulled away long after she got all of the hidden goodies so that Opal could have a try.

Roman asked for a chance to play. "I am not sure you can with your mask on," Steve told him but Roman's look indicated he wanted to try.
"Look, dad! I did it!"

Diva was the only one who did not want to play. She sat at the edge of the game and cried begging Steve to open the little doors. Maybe once she sees the others enthusiastically play a few times she might join in the fun. To be sure she will line up for macaroons.
