Lilly was not sure what to make of Steve dressing her in Bailey's borrowed harness and snapping on a lead. "Don't be a goof," Zsofia told her. "The White Dog Army goes WAY back with Dr. Julia and you are wearing our colors. Be well-mannered and remember she will be one of your best friends to keep you healthy." And then they headed off in Pumpkin.

Steve's report tried to soften Lilly's visit. "She was kind of wild. Jackie was charmed but Lilly was into sticking her face everywhere and trying to climb up on everything. The tech said she was a good girl but I think she was just being nice."

Lilly is a fit girl who might be a little thin at 52.6 pounds. We will have blood work back in a day or two. Our Girl is now up to date on shots, is heartworm negative, and is microchipped. "Dr. Julia says Lilly is good to go out on walks and meet the world," Steve announced. "So, until her harness arrives, she will wear Bailey's (after she does HER walk) and begin short solo explorations with me."

"Everyone was very nice to me. Even the shots did not hurt. My only complaint is that the treats are tiny."
