"Roman doesn't even notice Diva anymore," Zsofia observed. "He doesn't bark at her; he comes close and sniffs her; it is like they have been friends forever."
"I have seen that as well," I agreed. "Although I still think Dad or I need to be in the room to supervise when they are together. That is just being safe."
"But maybe this is a clue on how to get Roman to stop growling at Lilly and be more comfortable around her." I raised an eyebrow. "Roman stopped focusing on what he did not like about Diva when Lilly came along so all we need to do is recruit a new member of the White Dog Army to stop him from fixating on Lilly."
"And the poor new recruit would get his negative attention?" I asked. "I don't think that is fair. Or do you think we should just keep adding new pups whenever Roman gets an attitude? Are you prepared to share coffee with untold others? or treats? or walk time? It will get crowded pretty quickly with that plan."
"Well sure, momma, when you put it like that. So what is YOUR solution?" Zso challenged. "Same as it always is Itty Bitty One, time and love."

Well, this certainly is encouraging. Yes, time and love.
