"What the heck, Dad? We were out here having fun and all of a sudden it started pouring rain. The sun is still out; this makes no sense," Roman moved up to the deck near the door so he could quickly escape to safety should the BOOMS of thunder began.
"It is monsoon season, Baby Boy," I explained when he and Bailey scrambled in shaking off the drops. "It will be clear before dinner and bedtime walks won't be affected. Let's be grateful for any tiny bit of rain we get; it will make the growing things happy."
