The entire White Dog Army was enthusiastic when I mentioned we would be making lemon pancakes this morning. "That's good, dad, because you haven't really been eating much lately," said Diva with concern. "You've been feeding us well, but then you don't really eat." Well, today, I'm committed to eating a little better. Momma would not want me to starve. After all, she left us with LOTS of delicious food in the pantry and two well stocked freezers. My usual kitchen helper, Roman, assisted me with the preparation and cooking of the pancakes. When complete, the WDA made a collective shiver of excitement. Everyone received two delicious bites of pancake after sitting politely, and I had four small pancakes of my own. Afterward, it was time for post-breakfast naps.
