"Dad, I'm a little worried about the weather," Opal expressed with concern. "I heard you talking with Momma's sister Theresa and you mentioned a blizzard. I know that Zsofia, Bailey and Lilly love lots of snow, but I'm a lot closer to the ground than they are, and I'm getting on in years. I like warm cozy days."
"Sweet Opal, you don't need to worry about the weather here in Albuquerque in the near future. There are terrible storms being predicted all across the Country, but we'll be reasonably warm and have plenty of sunshine for the next week or so. I was hoping for a little snow here, actually. It's always nice to have a white Christmas."
"Thanks, dad. I feel a little better now. Please let me know if it will get colder and snowier. A girl likes to be prepared for such things."

Little bit jealous, we are expecting those blizzard conditions in a couple of days. We would love a warm sunny day. :)
You sweeties keep warm! We're supposed to get temperatures close to zero here this weekend. That's awful for us here in the Southeast.
