"Dad, I'm SO PROUD of you! Those are grocery bags you've brought into the house! You haven't had any groceries delivered since before Thanksgiving!" Bailey called to me as I walked past the crew. Everyone was salivating at the smell of hot roasted chicken eminating from one of the containers.
"I don't think you've missed any meals, well.....ever! Still, the cabinets and the refrigerator were getting a little bare. I bought a few groceries so I can prepare your homemade food since it's running low and, yes, the roasted chicken is a meal topper for each of you to eat tonight (and I get a little for my dinner, too)."
The entire White Dog Army assembled at the kitchen gate to watch the grocery unpacking while Roman stood behind me to make sure that the roasted chicken was evenly distributed into tonight's bowls. Bowls were filled, distributed and emptied without a single molecule remaining in any of them.

The expectant look of food love. We recognize it well :-). We get baked chicken often and we are cats. We love our chicken.
Chicken is a special treat in our home.
Grocery day is always a fun day here too!
It's always nice to have some foodables in the fridge and cupboards!
