White Dog has invented a game she calls "What's That Under the Couch?" First White Dog purposely pushes, drops or rolls one of her toys under the couch (Blue Ball works best). Then she lays peering under the couch, tail wagging, and sighing. When Steve asks, "What's that under the couch?", White Dog barks and squirms in invitation for Steve to get down next to her to see. They hunker side-by-side, butts up, heads under the couch, discussing their findings like two mechanics under the hood of the car. White Dog noses or taps Steve as a cue for him to grab the ball, pull it out, examine it along with White Dog, and then to throw the object as the game evolves into fetch. It is quite silly fun to watch.
