White Dog knew right away this morning that the cold I had been flirting with for a week had finally tagged me. I ached everywhere, had a fever, and shivered under a blanket as I dozed fitfully all day. Fortunately, Steve was home to give White Dog attention and a respite from her vigilant watch at my side (although he had to carry her to the car to go to the Park). Both took good care of me--keeping me comfortable, hydrated, fed, and feeling loved. White Dog brought me Mousie (her favorite Christmas gift) to use and Steve came home from the grocery with a bouquet of irises. I am so lucky to receive such special loving care.
