White Dog knew which of the four boxes delivered today contained the treats ordered to give as gifts to her canine friends. She sat attentively as I opened that box and then pawed at my leg so she could get a look...and a sniff! When I explained that the items were for gifting, not eating, White Dog calmly left the room and returned seconds later with a dryer sheet. Dryer sheets are one of White Dog's most favorite treasures in the universe to shred and the fact that she was willing to trade meant she really wanted something we had ordered. I accepted the trade and let her put her nose into the box to chose her "payment." White Dog chose a salmon skin wrapped rawhide bone that excited her so much that she almost refused to let me unwrap it! So White Dog has spent the entire evening focused on the chew, ignoring dinner, and savoring every crunch and gnaw.

Siku, you are so smart for bringing something to trade! I don't know how to do that at all...perhaps that's why Mom tends to not know what I want when I try to get her to give me things! I'm going to try and learn how to trade and see how it would work with Mom...*grins* Salmon skin wrapped rawhide sounds DELICIOUS...glad to hear you've enjoyed every bit of it!

Trades, eh? I don't know anything about trades. But everything I have I wouldn't want to trade for.

p.s. Be careful with the dryer sheets. They have lots of chemicals in them.

What a great treat! I can't eat those kinds of things- i have a very sensitive stomach. I can't have special bones like you can. I CAN have something called 'pressed rawhide' which is the only bone that doesn't make me sick!

I don't do trades and if I find a dryer sheet I eat it. Momma gets upset when I do this- but I think they are so yummy!
