White Dog did not understand why today had all of our friends calling to talk about what an incredible moment in history we were witnessing. She did sense the wonderful awakening of hope and pride. When Jesse (visiting us) started crying from the emotion of hearing the new President's Inaugural Address, White Dog jumped into her lap to watch along in her arms. What a difference a day can make!

That is so cool you supported your friend there, Siku! I don't really know much about the inauguration, but Mom said she hopes the new President will bring about the changes he talked about...he seems like a great person for the job!
