White Dog, who is still sneezing a bit herself, rode along when we went to the human vet about Steve's cough. He is mostly over the virus that everyone has except for a wracking gunky persistent cough that keeps him (as well as White Dog and I) awake at night. The doctor prescribed a codeine-laced syrup and a Nettie pot. When we returned home, White Dog watched in fascination as Steve rinsed his sinuses then she herded him to the couch where under a blanket both took a short nap. After, both felt well enough to jump and play "Bait." We are all so ready to be past the cold season! Our bout is despite vitamins, eating right and tons of hand washing!
