White Dog pointed out our hypocrisy as we used energy to microwave popcorn and to view the National Geographic DVD, "Six Degrees of Warming", a documentary on climate change/global warming. Her observation, however, did not prevent her from hunkering down on the bed between us and chowing on the popcorn! The documentary was very well done with nice effects, a realistic balance...but it was still frightening to consider the fate of our planet. White Dog had to leave temporarily when it was revealed that the hoof-to-eaten carbon footprint of cheeseburgers annually consumed in the US (the average is 3 per person per week not to even count the consumption by White Dogs!) was greater than the CO2 generated by SUV usage in the states!
