White Dog and Steve dabbed their eyes at the surprising happy ending to the post WWII escape from children's camp movie, I am David then noticed the menacing real world rumble of the approaching storm. They decided to go for an early walk in order to avoid the rain. They had just gotten to the end of the block when a firetruck, sirens and horn blaring, lights flashing, turned onto our street and paused in front of our house to let a cars (which the walkers didn't see) get out of the way; the truck then screamed down the road. It was too much for White Dog. The noise and lights scared her and the emergency vehicle in front of our house brought back memories of my recent medical crisis. She had no trouble in talking Steve into returning home where upon both hugged against me and breathed deeply. "It is OK," I told both...just before the clouds opened up and gushed.

That must have been so scary! I am so glad those trucks weren't for your Mom. Did the rain cool things down a bit? I think it would be fun sing with you and Mack.

Love,
Teddy Bear

Siku,
I'm sorry you were scard. I tend to hide behind Mommy, sit on her pillow at night and sometimes her head, if she is still laying on it, and follow Mommy during storms. I glad your Mommy is safe.
