White Dog was in a great mood when she and Steve returned from the Park this morning. They both came back to bed to play the "Let's touch mom with our cold noses" game...and they both laughed when I jumped! White Dog dropped a stone she had brought home for me on my chest and then tapped me reminding me the she was supposed to get a treat in return, and when I didn't get the bag open fast enough she buried the rock under the covers. I found it when it rolled under my back! She left Curly on my face so Steve and I could play while she went into the yard on a trade collecting sojourn and returned with cold wet leaves (and paws). Tithe was dutifully paid. It was obvious there was to be no more sleeping as White Dog continued to playfully walk all over us so we gave in to the morning joy and joined the wrestling, cuddling, bed dancing fun...at least until Steve noticed the time (it was a work day).

And THEN you enjoyed porridge for breakfast, with cream and cinnamon! YUM! That's a new combination that we'll have to try. Maybe tomorrow. I fended for myself for breakfast this morning ... Moma joined a friend in our little town for coffee. Not before leaving me with a Rich Tea Biscuit to enjoy with my weak tea and milk. Isn't life grand?

What a wonderful way to train your parents Siku! I might try that sometime with my mom.

P.S. it's so difficult to find a good halloween costume. All the pretty ones are for very tiny dogs. Mom said she'll try again this weekend.

Siku - you are so thoughtful to leave a toy for mom and dad to play with while you search the yard for your trade stash. Reading this post made me laugh for so long that my sides hurt now. You are just one amazing eskie.

PS: I bet mom really does like your cold nose and dad's cold behind - it must remind her that she is very loved by two very special beings!
