White Dog is still under the weather and this morning Steve awoke feeling congested and stuffy as well. Steve skipped yoga class and instead napped with White Dog wrapped in a comfy blanket. Later, Gregg, Candace and Dragon came over bearing a wonderful feast of Ethiopian foods that they had spent all day yesterday stewing. Richard and Adam joined us to enjoy chicken stew, lamb stew, collards, lentils, mixed vegetable stew and farmer's cheese all eaten with the fingers using the spongy flatbread, injera. The meal was just spicy enough to open the nasal passages and make the lips tingle...perfect for Steve, the sick boy. White Dog enjoyed the lamb and chicken and ate snuggled together with Steve in the comfy chair on the fringe of the crowd so as not to spread germs. After, we all enjoyed the traditional dessert of popped corn. For the most part, Dragon was respectful of White Dog's desire to be alone and was happy to lie on her "fur" rug and gnaw on the giant bone Isis had sent for Christmas.

Sorry to hear you still have a cold, Siku. Mom has one now too. Your food feast with the heart family sounds so good! Brother and I are glad that Dragon-brat was understanding of your need for rest. Brother said he wished we were there so that he and Dragon could play chase outside.

Meet you in the stars dear friend.

Love,
Prinnie

Sorry about the under weather members of the house...

Mom ate an Ethiopian restaurant in Kholumbus O-hi-O a few years ago - she enjoyed the experience furry much!

We have a bit of snow left - our temps are pawmitting it to stay too!
