White Dog, tail wagging and yipping a "Welcome" greeting was at the gate to meet Nancy and Michael when they got off of the train. It was a perfect, sunny New Mexico day. White Dog sat patiently as Michael scratched her ears and, eyes aglow, told us about the grandest adventure they had ever undertaken! The twenty-four hour train trip was a victory for them because they had done it by themselves and had succeeded! White Dog, Steve and I were so proud of them and were delighted as Michael spoke of seeing deer and cattle and snow topped mountains. It is hard for the challenged to make changes and we know this has not been easy for them. We also know that there will be a big adjustment curve. But White Dog has assured them--and--us, that somehow everything will fall into place and that they will soon think of the Land of Enchantment as their home.

I'm glad your sister and son made it ok. Think of all the wonderful things that white dog can teach them. Maybe she will even help them start their own blog.

That is Fan-Tastic!!! Hooray for Nancy and Michael. We are proud of them too, but they never would have had such a wonderful adventure if it weren't for you, your mom and your dad, Siku. They are the lucky ones to have your guidance and support!

Hi Siku,
You really are lucky to have family close to you. Most of my relatives live on the East coast.

With you as a gracious hostess and guide, I'm sure they'll love living in New Mexico.

Cappy (and Oliver too)

hey Siku Marie,

Woofs! A lot has happened in your life the few days I have been away! Congratulations on your Aunt and Nephew moving to your area! I am so furry happy they made it safely to their new home. I bet you will have fun having more family around!

I watched the Wolf Moon rise as well. It was beautiful and I was howling all night. It was a perfect Moon!

Suka

p.s. Thanks for all the great woofs you leave at my blog! I am sorry I have not been around lately. I will be posting either tonight or tomorrow. Peace.
