White Dog had a reunion, of sorts, this evening when Daisy and Poppy came over to introduce their new human brother, Derek. She had not seen them since the beginning of October when Stephanie was still pregnant. She sniffed 3 month old Derek and declared him cute but gave him some space when he started to make baby noises. The "girls" romped around like puppies when they first arrived, rolling each other over and nuzzling, and wagging tails like crazy. The fur-girls enjoyed noshies of Dragon Snaps, an apple banana chip from Dugan's Barkery named for our very own Dragon-brat and some chicken with rice. As we caught up with Stephanie and Rob (and they met Michael) we munched along with guacamole, queso, flautas and tortilla chips. Poor Derek only had a bottle (which he seemed to like). White Dog was surprised when Daisy and Poppy handed her a gift bag filled with chicken, salmon, and cod treats...a belated Barkday Present! She immediately opened the salmon snacks and shared with her friends.

hey Siku Marie,
Wonderful picture of you and your humans! It sounds like you had a fantastic visit with Poppy and Daisy. And what great fur-friends to bring you such an amazing bag of treats for your Barkday! Every pup needs fur-friends like that! :->

Wonderful picture!
Did you like the smell of the human baby. My mom goes crazy with their smell - babies and puppies. Maybe its all the poop they make.

Great pics! Thank you for sharing.
That's still our favorite picture of you all too. We're glad you got to enjoy the company of friends, both human and canine. Especially when they bring goodies.
ps: I really like Charlie's assessment of why humans like the smells of little ones.....
