White Dog got her long overdue run at the Park this morning. She and Steve lingered a little longer than usual so that she could squeeze every last drop of joy out of running in the early light of sunrise. White Dog returned ready to cuddle nap (as I awoke slowly) and very very happy; this was a moment of "normal-ness" which would sustain her through whatever twists the day later might throw at her. Tonight we ushered in the Year of the Tiger with carryout Chinese food. White Dog conceded that celebrating a "CAT" year was OK in honor of the fine feline friends she has met here in the blog world (but excluding those annoying neighborhood cats that torment her and try to sneak into our yard)!

hey Siku Marie,

Are your neighbors Ninja cats? If they are, be careful! Sorry they are tormenting you. Throw some catnip their way and it will calm them down.

Chinese food - yummers! I think it is ok that it is the Year of the Cat. We get our Year of the Dog, so I guess it evens it out. Enjoy!
